Best Moon Phase Items to Celebrate the Eclipse

I’ve always been a slight astronomy geek. I love looking up at the night sky and seeing the constellations that have formed across the expanse of darkness like a map. I am a firm believer that moon phases affect our mood and I love how it all ties into astrology. It’s amazing to think about what else is out there! There is just so much to learn about the sky above us! So when a major astronomical event occurs, I always hope to somehow be a part of it.

Since the hype started over the eclipse happening tomorrow afternoon, I’ve been doing my research. New Jersey won’t see it in its totality, but we’ll have clear skies and a 75 percent view of the sun being blacked out by the moon. While I don’t plan on craning my neck to watch it outside as it happens, I am definitely going to be tuned into a live stream. I might run outside to watch for shadows on the ground (since I don’t have eclipse glasses), but that’s about it.

It might be too late to order my glasses, but I can still celebrate the eclipse with some fun moon phase items! I’ve started a wishlist for myself, but I thought I would share some of the great things I found on Amazon. I’ve already ordered the “I’m Going Through a Phase Right Now” t-shirt! I’ll definitely be purchasing some of these other items in the future.
