One can never have enough chalkboard paint. Or at least that’s my opinion. I took another DIY outside recently while the weather was nice and made some fun chalkboard coasters for our outdoor eating area. White coasters can be found in home improvement stores. Chalkboard spray paint can be found there as well.

Make sure your coasters are nice and clean. Evenly spray the surfaces and sides with chalkboard paint and let dry. Once dried, you can attach cork dots to the bottom to prevent scratching surfaces.

Rub chalk on your painted coasters to “activate” their chalkboard properties. Then have fun writing on them!

I left my coasters outside to test how they withstood the elements. They held up after the rain. Just make sure to unstack them if you keep them stacked so they dry out thoroughly before creating new masterpieces!
