DIY Halloween Window Clings

I have to admit that my plastic drawer of craft supplies is currently overflowing at the moment.  So I’ve put myself on a buying ban and only buy new supplies if I absolutely need something to complete a project – and I have a coupon handy!  I’m trying to use a lot of what I already have to create new projects. While I was going through my drawer of paints the other day, I found a few tubes of Puffy Paint.  That made me think of an incredibly easy DIY project I recently saw to make your own window clings.

With a little bit of imagination, you can create last minute Halloween decorations to dress up your windows! These DIY window clings are so easy, you can make them the night before trick-or-treaters start banging down your door!  If you don’t want to freehand your window clings, print out simple Halloween images and use tracing paper to create your designs.

SUPPLIES

STEPS

1. Lay down a sheet of wax paper or parchment paper to work on.
2. Trace or freehand Halloween designs using your paint tubes.
3. Allow to dry completely, 24-48 hours.
4. Carefully peel away window clings and display.

DIY Halloween Window Clings Make sure that your window clings are completely dry before peeling them off the paper.  They’ll feel a little tacky and sticky to the touch and will easily cling to windows and mirrors.  I put mine up on my kitchen window for a little extra spooky something.  Happy crafting!
