Can we talk about how excited I am about our kitchen makeover?  I mean, I’m sure I’ve mentioned it ten thousand times before!  But seriously.  A coat of paint and new flooring can do wonders for a room (check out our kitchen update reveal here)!  During our makeover process, my husband and I didn’t always agree on things.  But we did agree on one thing – we wanted our kitchen to be farmhouse inspired.

The farmhouse trend has been going strong the past few years.  So we decided to bring some of that rustic, Southern charm into our Jersey home (sans shiplap, thank you very much).  Not everything has been redone in the kitchen, so it still holds some of that vintage charm that fits right in with our style.  But with a fresh, updated kitchen, I couldn’t wait to get some new decor for it!
