One of the best shows to come out of the 90’s (and there are many) is Seinfeld.  I remember my parents watched the show religiously.  And now as an adult, I constantly watch the show on TV and streaming services!  The show was pure comedy gold with memorable quotes and characters.

Of course, one of my favorite episodes is “The Strike,” where we were introduced to Festivus, the holiday for the rest of us.  It’s celebrated on December 23rd and includes an aluminum pole, feats of strength, and the airing of grievances.  Basically, it’s a non-religious, uncommercialized holiday.

I’ve got a lot of problems with you people!  And now you’re gonna hear about it!

While this is a totally fictional holiday, Seinfeld fans like myself pay homage to to the show and this classic episode around Christmas every year.
