It’s that time of year when we start to hear about diets and how to become a better version of ourselves. It’s been a hard year and an even harder holiday season for most of us. And although I’ve definitely felt the consequences of my unhealthy eating habits over the past few months, I’m not about to make myself feel guilty about it.
Starting a crazy diet isn’t for me. Neither is committing to a workout program. So it’s time to start stocking the house with better food options and keeping healthy pantry staples on hand. I find that once the house is filled with healthier snacks and ingredients, I don’t really miss the junk food I was eating.
My Favorite Healthy Pantry Staples
One of my favorite places to grab pantry staples from is Nuts.com. I’ve been ordering from them since 2011 when I discovered their facility on a bike ride with my husband (they’re super local to us).
Almost everything from Nuts.com is packaged in convenient zip lock pouches (starting at 1 lb.) and stays fresh! If you’re like me and love buying bulk ingredients, check out my list of favorite pantry staples to keep in your kitchen.
