It’s once again that exciting time of year when the turkey leftovers have been packed away, the Christmas tree is up and decorated, and the holiday preparations are underway. Starting next week, I’ll be getting to work on my holiday baking list! It’s the only time of year that I truly look forward to spending time in my kitchen baking up a storm.
Over the past week or two, I’ve written up my baking ingredient list, gotten my cookie tins down from the attic, and stocked up on my baking essentials – especially butter. Lots and lots of butter! It takes a lot of ingredients (plus, time and Christmas tunes) to whip up cookie trays for friends and family. But I love doing it every single Christmas!
