This weekend, we’re celebrating March and April birthdays with the whole family.  Spring birthdays are pretty much back-to-back in my family.  Then again, we really don’t get a month off from now until Christmas!  My older brother celebrates his birthday at the end of March and my parents just celebrated their birthdays this week (yesterday and Wednesday).  Last year, when we celebrated spring birthdays together, I made Apple Pie Cheesecake Jars for dessert.  They were a big hit and my nephew has been asking me to make them ever since.

So this weekend, I’ll be making apple pie jars for dessert again.  So easy!  All you basically do is add graham cracker crumbs to the bottom of a mason jar.  Then, you add an easy cheesecake filling and top that with apple pie filling.  Done!  Simple and so good!  The best part about eating dessert in a jar is that you don’t have to worry about sharing.  In fact, I think the last time I made these, my nephew ate about two or three of them!

My baking hasn’t exactly been up to par lately, but I think I can accomplish baked goods in small batches.  So desserts in a jar will definitely be my go-to this spring and summer.  Keep reading for 10 dessert in a jar recipes that will sure to be a hit at your spring and summer gatherings!
