Have a Pawsome Christmas with Minted Holiday Cards

Picking out the perfect Christmas card to send to friends and family is kind of like finding the perfect gift for each person on your holiday list.  One of my favorite things about the holiday season is sending and receiving Christmas cards.  I love everything about them down to choosing which holiday stamps we’ll put on the envelopes!  As someone who loves taking photos, sending Christmas cards each year is a great way to share those photo memories with family and friends.

Last year, we went big!  I set up a tripod in the middle of the park to take family pictures and created three – yes, THREE – different kinds of Christmas cards through Minted.  This year, I didn’t want to take a traditional, posed family photo.  I wanted our card to be humorous.  With so much negativity in the world, I wanted to share a card that would make people laugh upon opening it.

Plus, it’s pretty obvious that Hunter is a big part of our family.  All of our family and friends know and love him.  As you can see, he’s also a huge part of my blog!  So I wanted our holiday cards to encompass the fact that Hunter is definitely the center of attention and the star of our little family!

A few weeks ago, I talked to my husband about taking our holiday photo and ordering our cards.  He has a crazy pair of brown, furry paw slippers that immediately became the inspiration for our card.  So I got myself a pair of crazy paw slippers in gray.  We stood on a white, fluffy blanket with Hunter in the middle of us.  Fur parents “fur” real!  We completed our “pawsitively” hilarious photo with a small Christmas tree and present stack dog toy.  Once I captured our photo, it was time to pick out our cards!
