Some of my favorite recipes have been created out Some of my favorite recipes have been created out of not knowing what to have for lunch. Like this cheeseburger quesadilla! 🍔

I put this together one afternoon for lunch. I remembered I had frozen plant based burger patties in the freezer, but I didn't have burger buns. I had soft tortillas, so I made a quesadilla.

This is basically my new favorite way to eat a burger! The patty is topped with burger toppings and sits between two soft tortillas. The quesadilla gets toasted in a skillet and served with ketchup for dunking.

Grab this easy lunch idea on livinglavidaholoka.com today! Not a plant based burger person? Make this with a classic beef patty or turkey burger instead!
Oh hello, Fall. I’ve been waiting for you! 🍂🍁🎃

See, I’ve tried to, once again, make peace with your friend, Summer. But she keeps getting hot and feisty, stirring shit up. I’ve had enough.

You, on the other hand, are chill and cool. I couldn’t wait to embrace your coziness. So welcome.

And please stay a little longer. Cause you’re ✨ magical. ✨
I decided to jump on the tomato cage ghost bandwag I decided to jump on the tomato cage ghost bandwagon and created this viral Halloween decoration. 👻

All you need is a handful of supplies from the dollar store + a tomato cage. I also wrapped a string of solar lights around the tomato cage so the ghost lights up at night.

If you’re worried about the ghost tipping over, use metal stakes (I took them from some of our Christmas decorations) to stake the ghost into the ground.
When that fall feel arrived, so did a long list of When that fall feel arrived, so did a long list of autumn type cravings. At the top of the list was a pumpkin muffin from our local bakery.

I stopped there to get dessert one day for a family dinner and was disappointed to find that they weren't available yet. So I tried making them myself. I think I finally nailed the recipe.

These Bakery Style Pumpkin Muffins are moist and delicious with just the perfect amount of pumpkin spice! Fill your muffin pan almost to the top with batter, then sprinkle turbinado sugar on top for that bakery feel.

Grab this recipe on livinglavidaholoka.com today! These muffins are so good with a nice cup of tea in the morning or evening!
If you’re like me and love planting mums in the If you’re like me and love planting mums in the fall, follow these tips to keep them thriving throughout the season!

1. Plant in soil with good drainage.
2. Feed plants with a nitrogen based plant food. It’ll help them produce those gorgeous blooms!
3. Make sure they’re watered regularly, but not kept soggy. Mums like to stay on the wetter side, but soggy soil could cause root rot. Water about every other day.
4. Deadhead any spent flowers. This helps the mums use their energy to grow more flowers.

And a bonus tip: choose plants with more buds on it than flowers, if possible. That way you’ll have more new growth to enjoy through the fall!
