Happy National Dog Day! This weekend we finally get to go visit the puppies and pick out which one we want to bring home. I CANNOT begin to tell you how excited I am! I feel like the countdown to bringing our little guy home can officially start! We should be bringing him home on or after the 8th of September. I already told my husband that I’ll take the ride out myself on the 8th if I have to. I want our puppy home ASAP!

While our puppy’s got most of the necessary items for his welcome home, one of the most fun items we’ve bought has been dog toys! I’ll admit that we’ve probably gone a little overboard, but they’re so darn cute! We’ve also got a lot of training rewards and treats on hand.
That’s why I couldn’t wait to check out BarkBox! Each month, our pup will receive a box filled with toys and treats. We received the first box this month and I absolutely loved that the boxes are themed! August’s box was a circus theme, complete with a Bearded Lady toy!
This month’s box also included Emerald Pet Piggy Twizzies, Lucky Dog Grain Free Roast Duck Treats, My Doggy Cheesy Cookies, and a Zigoo Pets Veggout toy. I already can’t wait for next month’s box because our puppy will be home when it gets here (plus, I really can’t wait to see what the next box contains)!
