Enjoy the flavors of classic s’mores in this easy layered S’mores Greek Yogurt Parfait made with chocolate Greek yogurt, graham cracker crumbs, and marshmallow spread!

S’mores are one of my favorite summertime treats. But I don’t think I’ve had anything remotely “s’mores” this entire summer. I had to rectify that before summer ended! Unfortunately, the nights have been way too warm for me to sit around the fire pit and roast marshmallows to make s’mores. So I got creative.
I thought about the Tiramisu Breakfast Parfaits I made and decided to make a s’mores style treat that I could enjoy for breakfast or as a snack. I put together a s’mores yogurt parfait layered with chocolate Greek yogurt, graham cracker crumbs, and marshmallow spread. A little fancier than your average s’more, but oh-so-good!
While you can use a container of chocolate Greek yogurt to make this layered s’mores parfait, I didn’t want to add any extra sugar. So I added cocoa powder to plain Greek yogurt instead. Then, I added the cocoa infused yogurt to my layered parfait with low fat graham cracker crumbs and a dollop or two of marshmallow spread.
S’mores Greek Yogurt Parfait
This S’mores Greek Yogurt Parfait is perfect for breakfast, as a special snack, or even dessert! Just layer chocolate yogurt, graham cracker crumbs, and marshmallow spread in a parfait glass for an easy, campfire inspired treat!
The first thing we need to do is mix up our chocolate Greek yogurt. Of course, you can skip this step if you want to use a container of chocolate Greek yogurt. Since I don’t want any added sugar, I added plain Greek yogurt to a mixing bowl with unsweetened cocoa powder and mixed it up until combined. Then, I stirred in vanilla extract.
Now, we can start layering the parfait! Add a layer of graham cracker crumbs to the bottom of a parfait glass or cup. Follow with chocolate yogurt and marshmallow spread.
Continue layering until you finish with a layer of marshmallow spread on top. Then, sprinkle extra graham cracker crumbs over the yogurt and serve.
- 1 cup plain low fat Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup marshmallow spread
- In a mixing bowl, mix the Greek yogurt and cocoa powder together until combined. Then, stir in the vanilla extract.
- Begin layering the parfait in a glass. Add a layer of graham cracker crumbs to the bottom of the glass.
- Then, add some of the chocolate yogurt and follow with the marshmallow spread on top.
- Continue repeating with layers and finish with a layer of marshmallow spread on top.
- Add extra graham cracker crumbs on top and serve.
If you want to get even fancier with these s’mores style parfaits, break out the kitchen torch to toast a couple marshmallows to add on top! As much as I love gooey, classic s’mores, this s’mores parfait is a welcome substitution!
